These ratings are issued and evaluated frequently by credit agencies like CRISIL, CARE, and ICRA after evaluating the creditworthiness of the issuer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Investment-grade bonds may offer relatively stable passive income to NRIs through fixed income payments at regular intervals until the principal is returned at maturity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"G-Secs\"><\/span><b>G-Secs<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier, G-Secs investments were only open to resident Indians.
