The interest rate is 10%. The coupon payment is annual, and the coupon payment date is June. So, you are to receive a coupon payment of INR 40,000 every year. Now, suppose you received your last coupon payment in June 2023, and you decided to sell the bond unit in the secondary market 60 days after that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In that case, you will receive not only the face value of the unit, but the new bondholder must also pay the interest accumulated till the date of the transaction, i.e., the accrued interest of the 60 days.
