Infradebt is an NBFC providing an alternative class of funding. The four leaders in the financial sector established Infradebt in 2013. The four leaders are ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Citi Finance India Limited, and Life Insurance. ICICI bank holds about 42% of stake and is the largest shareholder in Infradebt. ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda take the responsibility of project finance and domestic fundraising. In contrast, Citicorp Finance India Limited is raising funds in the international market, and LIC is investing in Tier-2 capital and Senior Bonds issued by the company.

Mr. Suvek Nambiar is the Managing Director and CEO of Infradebt. In 2019 the net profit was Rs. 140 crores, and the total income was Rs. 667 crores (source: ICRA's 2019 Report).
