The business is primarily based on the Joint Liability Group (JLG) model for providing collateral free, microcredit facilities to economically active women in rural and semi-urban areas. It also provides loans to individual businesses, loans to MSMEs, product loans for financing purchase of solar lamps and loans for development of water connection and sanitation facilities. It converted to a Non-Banking Financial Company-Micro Finance Institution in November 2013.
