NHIT - National Highway Infra Trust, came into the picture on October 19, 2020, under InvIT. With the one and only purpose of developing, maintaining, and managing the national highways of India. It is registered under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

They have a portfolio of 5 roads in Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Rajasthan states, having a right to maintain, operate, and toll. This toll spans around 389 km. Their next goal is to take 3 more tolls spanning 246 km in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana states. The National Highway Infra Trust is a subsidiary of the National Highway Authority of India and they are consistently excelling in the track record of operational performance and growth. Which indeed is taken care of by the National Highway Development Project which is invested in 50,329 km of national highways for management, maintenance, and development along with other minor projects.
